You can also use I would like to to express your wishes.
If you already know what you are doing/where you are going you have to use either be going to or present continuous for a future use.

My family and I are going…
We can also talk about our summer routines, the kind of thing we do while at home during summer time like going to the swimming-pool, eating ice-cream or unwinding before a cold beer among some friends.
